Features of townhouses
The easiest way to understand what does a townhouse mean in Turkey and what are its distinctive features, based on the meaning of the words. The literal translation of the term "town house" — this is a “house in the city.” That is, this is housing that combines the characteristics of a private house and an apartment.
As a rule, all townhouses have two or three floors. The layout provides for:
- kitchen-dining room, living room and bathroom — on the ground floor;
- bedrooms, study, children's room, bathrooms — on the second floor.
Many buyers are interested in what is the difference between a house and a townhouse. Compared to detached houses, townhouses are always located within a cottage community (or residential complex), united by a common territory and uniform architectural solutions.
